Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from international patients.

Do you see international patients or non-Korean speakers?

Yes. Dr. Kim consults in English on request, and has ten years of clinical practice in Singapore (National University Hospital, Thomson Fertility Centre), so English-language care is routine for him, not an accommodation.

Do I need a referral, or can I book directly?

No referral is needed. You can book directly via Naver Reservation, or message us on KakaoTalk.

What does the employment medical checkup include, and how fast can I get results?

We can accommodate any panel required by your employer or government agency. Tests completed before 10:00 AM are typically ready the same day; tests after that are ready by around 4:00 PM the next day.

Can I get my results or a medical certificate in English?

Yes — results summaries and certificates can be issued in English on request, for employer or visa submission.

How does billing work if I'm not covered by Korean National Health Insurance?

Non-covered (self-pay) services are billed at the same rate as for Korean patients paying out of pocket — there is no additional charge for international patients.

Is the clinic close to Seoul National University?

Yes — the clinic is about a 3-minute walk from Seoul National Univ. Station (Line 2, Exit 5), and many of our patients are SNU-affiliated faculty, researchers, and their families.

Do you offer the ID photo needed for the application?

If you need a photo for your application, we can refer you to a partner photo studio right next to the clinic.

What should I bring to my first visit?

A photo ID (passport or ARC) and, if applicable, any prior test results or referral documents you'd like Dr. Kim to review.
